In his 50 years, Lloyd Carney has enjoyed a profitable journey from Jamaica to Palo Alto. And when he leaves this December as CEO of Xsigo three months after Oracle (ORCL) closes the acquisition announced July 30 – he will start thinking about his next venture. Carney’s career has benefited from the Silicon Valley Start-up Common (SVSC) and he’s giving back to it as well.
