Founded in 1729, Wolmer’s is the oldest school in the English-speaking Caribbean, comprised of Wolmer’s Trust High School for Boys, Wolmer’s Trust High School for Girls, and Wolmer’s Preparatory School. Today, the three campuses serve more than 3,000 students with 150 faculty members.
Wolmer’s Trust continues to pivot towards a more sustainable learning environment through the installation of a 263kW photovoltaic system, of which CGV is the major donor. The proceeds will be directed to each school for specific projects and activities, such as improved WiFi and internet access and supplies for the labs, all in support of the objective of “Wolmer’s as the premier science and technology high school in the world”. Thanks to CGV the schools are currently benefiting as of August 2020.
